Back in June I wrote a post about which iPad apps I was using. I had used the Telstra AFL ipad app on the iphone but you have to renew your subscription i.e give them more $. The app expires after 30 days and I have to fork over another $6. Bugger off! I don’t mind buying an app but to keep charging me for data that is freely available seems like a dumb way to treat your customers. So I have dumped the app.
For iPad users though there is a great free AFL app. It gives live results, is easy to use and has a raft of great features. The crowd even cheers when a goal is scored 
It is so much better than any other online live AFL update service including the AFL website (which is built & maintained by Telstra).
